It’s the holiday season!

And with that comes more precious time spent with family and friends around home-cooked meals and far too many sweets. Yes, the holiday season is such a special time. Never feel bad for taking some time off to spend it with loved ones!

One of the most frustrating things about the holidays is the change in business hours/availability for companies. The people you count when a problem arises are all traveling to see their families and spend time with loved ones, which is great… but as a Hospice Provider you have patients and families who are celebrating what could be their last holiday, and sometimes it can’t wait until Monday at 9am when everyone is back in the office. For this reason, the holidays can become a very stressful time for those working in the Hospice Industry. There is nothing worse than needing help and there being no one available to lend a hand.

For anyone who has experienced this, you know exactly what we are talking about.
